Globally, PwC has traditionally served as Knowledge Partner™ to the world’s premier economic gatherings, which in addition to SPIEF include the APEC CEO Forum and the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Through its partnership with SPIEF since 2010, PwC Russia makes a contribution toward the development of international business as a whole and the Russian economy in particular.
Specifically for the St Petersburg Forum, we have traditionally carried out a range of projects with the common goal of familiarising Forum participants and the international community in general with the most relevant topics and trends spotlighted by the event, as part of an effort to facilitate the sharing of views and experience as well as cover the Forum’s main highlights and achievements in real time.
In our capacity as Knowledge Partner™, we suggest topical themes and develop sessions for SPIEF’s business programme. As well, we interview prominent Forum participants, play an active role in shooting informational videos about key sessions, and survey CEOs attending the Forum right onsite.
In the spirit of this tradition, at this year’s 20th anniversary Forum, PwC will launch a unique new initiative – the Russian Business Book of the Year Award.
Key Sessions Videos is a new project that is being launched in 2016. In this project, PwC’s team will shoot brief video presentations featuring the most relevant information, facts and analysis from key Forum sessions. The videos are aimed at sparking dialogue among SPIEF participants about specific topics and “warming them up” for discussion, as well as keeping them informed about the agenda and expanding their outlook on critical topics for discussion.
The SPIEF Channel is a joint project of the forum and PwC. During preparations and the forum itself, the channel shows short interviews with key participants, Russian and foreign experts, as well as separate reports on important sessions.
Every year PwC conducts a survey of the Forum participants and online-community in regards to economic issues directly associated with the forum’s events. The survey’s results are broadcast in real-time on TV screens at SPIEF venues.
In addition, PwC prepared brief highlights from each forum session, which are available on the forum website throughout the year.
